The following learning modules were made for a newsletter prepared for healthcare facility managers and program officers in Uganda. This initiative is part of the Decade of Vaccine Economics project, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Module 1: Costs & economic perspectives
You will learn about the concept of “cost of illness”, the different costs found in using and providing healthcare, and the different economic perspectives used to capture all relevant costs.
